The Koch Brothers

I’m having a hard time thinking of any people in recent history who have been more corrosive to the American Democratic Experiment then the Koch brothers.   Now, that isn’t to say that everything going on is their fault.  The unjust distribution of wealth and our governmental system which perpetuates it has been in place since before the Koch Brothers, and it requires the cooperation of a majority of U.S citizens in order to sustain itself.   Its just that between the Tea Party with their greed driven anti tax nonsense and now this business in Wisconsin (http://blogs.forbes.com/rickungar/2011/02/18/koch-brothers-behind-wisconsin-effort-to-kill-public-unions/) they seem to be like the poster children for the ideals of the corporate oligarchs who have bought out our political system.

Here is a list of products which benefit the Koch Brothers.  Money not spent on these products is money that won’t be spent to buy government officials and prevent justice for a majority of U.S. citizens.

  1. While the IDEA of unions sounds good they have not (at least in the United States) been executed effectively, and have resulted in the mass exodus of manufacturing jobs. Collective bargaining basically forces companies to move operations out of the US to stay competitive. While I do not side with Tea Party motives, I do believe that the dissolution of labor unions is in the best interest of all Americans. Boycott all you want, but just because these men are well funded does not mean they are wrong.
